Biology in 11th & 12th

First Of All, your optional subject Should be Biology in 11th & 12th, and you must get 50%+ Marks in 12th to do so. You can have Mathematics as an additional subject but Biology is compulsory.

MBBS Course –

Bachelor Of Medicine & Bachelor Of Surgery (MBBS) . It’s a Approx 4.5 year course (in India) after undergoing this course you’ll be licensed to practice medicine as a Physician across whole world.

Does Marks in 12th Matter ?

After MBBS , you’ll be able to prescribe medicine, do general surgery etc. After 4 years , you’re given one year Internship , after which you’ll get license to do practice.

Many students think that if they don’t get good marks , they can’t become a Doctor, but guess it’s wrong. Marks in 12th Class has no relation with becoming a Doctor.

These types are based on Fees of Medical Colleges , some Medical Colleges are also there other than these three types.

These Colleges are under autonomous bodies but fees are very low.

How to Get Admission in These Colleges

There is A National Level Exam Known as NEET (Nation Eligibility cum Entrance Test) which is Conducted by NTA. Anyone Having Biology In 12th Class Can Appear in this exam. Some age limit is there, that age Should be between 17-25 years.

Now in NEET, 180 Questions are asked , each having 4 Marks, and for a wrong answer, 1 marks will be deducted from current Marks.

90 Questions from Biology
45 from Chemistry
45 from Physics

For Admission In Private Colleges –

For Admission in private Colleges, you’ve to score about 140 Marks and you’ll get admission in private College easily but it’s fee and other expenses are very high and a middle class family can’t afford it.

For Admission in Government Colleges –

If you want admission in Government College, then you’ve to Socre good marks. Look , we can’t commit marks , but If You Belong to General/OBC Category , then you have to score 600+ marks out of 720 . And if you belong to SC Category then 470+ is marks for you and for ST , It’s 430+..

For Semi Government –

Marks required are just 4-5 marks than Cutt off of government College. Benefit of semi Government College is that you don’t have to pay donation fees.
